12-year-old Georgia boy battling health issues gets birthday surprise

The organization Young Entrepreneurs Striving surprised Jadarius Brown, who has congestive heart failure, for his 12th birthday.

MACON, Ga. — A 12-year-old Central Georgia boy who has battled health issues all his life got a birthday surprise over the weekend.

Last May, 13WMAZ introduced you Jadarius Brown. He's been in and out of the hospital due to congestive heart failure.

Last Monday was Brown's 12th birthday, but on Sunday he welcomed in the new age with the help of the organization Young Entrepreneurs Striving or Y.E.S.

The group brought cupcakes, a card, and some clothing for Brown to enjoy.

Five men from Central Georgia founded the organization, which is aimed at helping and motivating young men.

The organization also wants to provide community outreach.
