A Macon teen made Central Georgia proud Monday night in her appearance on a popular CBS game show.
Stephanie Pierson, a rising senior at Mount de Sales Academy in Macon, competed in the Jeopardy! Teen Tournament.
She played a good game with a particularly strong showing in "An Explosive Category." Stephanie ended the show in third place, with winnings of $13,999.
Stephanie practiced for four months in front of the TV before she headed to Hollywood.
The show was recorded this past winter.
